Welcome to The Society for Arthritic Joint Surgery!

Thank you for your interest in the Society for Arthritic Joint Surgery. The Society is comprised of orthopaedic surgeons with special interest in total joint arthroplasty. Our membership is diverse, not only geographically but in practice settings as well. The group remains small (numbering in the 50's) to insure its tradition and founding principles that include sharing of experiences and knowledge, camaraderie, and social activities.

Membership is by invitation only.

Spouses play an integral part in the Annual Meeting generally held in September or October at locations across the country. Past venues are Yosemite National Park, The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, The Ritz Carlton in Naples, Florida, The Prince George Hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia  and The Silverado in Napa Valley to name a few. Most recently, members enjoyed terrific programs at Grand Cayman Island, Scottsdale, AZ, Williamette Valley, Oregon and Sea Island, GA.

Our 2020 meeting in Banff has been postponed until 2022 due to Covid-19.  Our 2021 meeting is in Northern Virginia.
